GWM Nepal Opens New Dealership in Pokhara, Launches Ora 5 and Jolion Max EV

Rays Motors Pvt. Ltd., the authorized dealer of Great Wall Motor (GWM) Nepal in Pokhara, has officially inaugurated its new dealership facility at Uttam Chowk, Pokhara.

The new facility was inaugurated alongside the launch of two new electric vehicles in the Pokhara market—the GWM Ora 5 and Haval Jolion Max EV. The event brought together representatives from GWM and Rays Motors, local dignitaries, automotive enthusiasts and members of the media.

The GWM Ora 5 is equipped with a 58.3 kWh battery and offers a claimed range of up to 435 km under the WLTP cycle. It also features 200 mm of ground clearance along with a range of advanced safety and driver-assistance features.

The Haval Jolion Max EV, meanwhile, gets a 150 kW electric motor paired with a 58.3 kWh battery, with a claimed range of more than 400 km. Its equipment list includes a panoramic sunroof, 14.6-inch infotainment system, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality.

The new Uttam Chowk dealership provides 3S facilities—Sales, Service and Spare Parts—under one roof. The facility includes a modern showroom and a dedicated service centre equipped with diagnostic equipment and trained technicians.

According to Rays Motors, the new dealership is intended to strengthen GWM's presence in Pokhara while providing customers with access to both vehicle sales and after-sales support locally.

The showroom is now open to customers, with bookings and test drives for the GWM Ora 5 and Haval Jolion Max EV available in Pokhara.
